Arthrex is actively searching for a Supervisor - Field Logistics Services who will be r esponsible for managing and overseeing daily activities for the Field Logistics Services (FLS) team consisting of the FLS Inventory Analysts including order processing, planning, inventory processing, reports, escalation requests, etc. Join our talented team and help us stay focused on Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better ™ .

**HOURS OF OPERATION FOR THIS POSITION ARE: Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.**

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Supervise, coach, mentor, and train Field Logistics Services (FLS) Inventory analysts to/on:

    • Ensure incoming Agency orders/various requests are processed according to standard FLS requirements and are addressed in a timely and accurate manner.

    • Ensure consignment inventory reconciliation processing for Agency inventories are thoroughly reviewed, verified, and processed accurately.

    • Direct communications with agencies regarding FLS requirements while maintaining a high level of customer service.

    • How and when to escalate questions or concerns to supervisor and determine if additional assistance or decision is required.

    • How to process billing and other consignment transactions affecting Agency consignment inventory.

    • How to investigate and resolve inventory and billing issues.



  • Conduct employee reviews and disciplinary actions, seeking direction from the FLS Manager and Director, Global Field Operations when necessary.

  • Coordinate and investigate all inventory issues escalated by FLS team members when additional decision or investigation is needed.

  • Monitor communications such as emails and phone calls between FLS team members and Agencies.

  • Audit Agency inventory processing and other transactions to ensure accuracy.

  • Compiles and analyzes reports for department metrics and meets with staff weekly or monthly to keep them on track with department standards and quotas and counsels as needed on ways to meet department goals.

  • Send communications to Agencies on behalf of FLS or Territory Operations Management regarding procedures or product status updates.

  • Prioritize and delegate projects to the FLS Inventory Analyst to ensure completion by a specified deadline.

  • Coordinate with the Territory Operations Management team to keep agency inventory and requirements up to date for the department.

  • Communicate with Arthrex Product Management teams to monitor new limited product releases. Determine and ensure all required product message directive notifications are set up in ERP system.

  • Identify and communicate with Master Data Team material status corrections on set-ups of newly introduced products when needed.

  • Collaborates with the FLS Manager and Director, Global Field Operations on a regular basis.

  • Bring important issues that arise to the attention of the FLS Manager.

  • Maintain a cohesive and cross-trained team able to respond to Arthrex's ever-changing environment.

  • Required to work flexible hours as needed by the department including mandatory month-end until 6PM or upon completion of all orders submitted. Required to work extended hours during fiscal year end to ensure all orders are processed and shipped on time before the close of day on June 30th.

Education and Experience:


  • High School diploma or equivalent required

  • Bachelor's degree (Business or related degree) preferred

  • 5+ years of increased responsibilities in Customer Service or Logistics required

  • Prior Supervisory or Leadership Experience required

  • Experience managing inventory, order processing, and billing preferred

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

PC, Database, Office equipment.

Requires advanced computer knowledge (Windows applications, Excel, etc.).

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements.

Language and Communication Skills:

Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above. Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management. Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
