QA Analyst - SIT Team at Kforce Inc in Jacksonville, Florida

Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Jacksonville, FL that is looking for a QA Analyst for the SIT Team. This person will be responsible for executing testing procedures to ensure that software meets established quality standards.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Data sets to test logic, error handling and system workflows


• Document testing according to the procedures


• Observing, testing, diagnosing, and reporting faults in the software and hardware


• Prepare and execute test plans and test cases for projects and product releases


• Learn different QA testing methodologies and standards


• Work closely with the Development and Sales Engineering team


• Identify, isolate, and track bugs throughout testing


• Identify any potential problems that users might encounter


• Use Agile and Kanban methodologies for SDLC


• Maintain work backlog through JIRA

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science


• Excellent communication skills: clear and accurate written and verbal communication is a must


• Excellent self-management and time management is essential; The position requires managing multiple competing priorities in a timely manner, to stay on schedule


• Must be a team-oriented problem solver who takes ownership of work performed


• Must be able to communicate technically with the team, but also communicate clearly with the business in non-technical language


• Must be able to work well with others who are both in-person and in a remote environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
