POSITION PURPOSE

The Behavior Analyst is responsible for analyzing the socially significant problematic behaviors, the controlling and
contributing contingencies and variables, and skill deficits for their client. The Behavior Analyst practices in
accordance with the requirements of their certifying board (BACB) and the State of Missouri. The Behavior Analyst
will also work collaboratively with other departments across the company to work within the scope of the team to
help clients achieve their treatment goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - JOB SPECIFIC

* Exercise independent judgement and take actions to ensure that risks to clients are minimized.
* Produce the results of a thorough analysis of behavior in a competently written and acceptable format
(Functional Behavioral Assessment).
* Treats socially significant problematic behavior and/or skill deficits using acceptable behavior analytic
practices as reported in literature in an acceptable format (Behavior Treatment Plan).
* Collects and thoroughly analyzes behavioral data for all clients and produces graphical representation of the
client's behaviors in a professional and complete format.
* Confers with the client's interdisciplinary team to assess the client's behavior, monitor client progress, and
adjust the treatment plan as needed.
* Collaborative work includes, but not limited to, working directly with clients, training staff, parents, and
caregivers, as well as training Compass Health Network team members on behavioral analytic curriculum
and concepts to help team members to perform their functions in support of a client's success.
* Clearly and thoroughly documents services with clients in the client's electronic record in a timely manner.
* Manages approved and authorized services so that all services are offered within an authorized timeline and
within the authorized units/CPT codes.
* Understands and achieves all contractual and regulatory requirements associated with service delivery.
* Works independently and manages time and productivity to meet requirements.
* Other duties as assigned.

Master's degree required

* Must be a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and must maintain that credential.
* Must be licensed as a Behavior Analyst (LBA) with the State of Missouri and maintain that license
