RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Leawood, KS that is looking for a Windows System Administrator for a short-term, contract opportunity.

The Windows System Administrator will be responsible for the following on a day-to-day basis:

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers in a 24x7 production environment


• Windows Server administration (Active Directory management, DNS configuration, performance tuning & troubleshooting, proactive monitoring)


• Management of on-prem VMware/ESXi environments


• Management of Cisco UCS environments


• Manage and maintain Microsoft Exchange environments

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows servers in a 24x7 production environment


• Experience with Windows Server administration (Active Directory management, DNS configuration, performance tuning & troubleshooting, proactive monitoring)


• Experience managing on-prem VMware/ESXi environments


• Experience with storage solutions, specifically Infinidat and NetApp


• Experience managing Cisco UCS environments


• Experience participating in disaster recovery planning and exercises


• Comfortable using Microsoft applications for daily documentation (Excel, Visio, and Word)


• Ability to manage and maintain Microsoft Exchange environments


• Willingness to participate in occasional on-call production support

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with scripting/system automation tools/methodologies


• Experience with Azure or other cloud technologies


• Experience with SCCM

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
