RESPONSIBILITIES:

A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Senior Accountant in Providence, Rhode Island (RI).

Summary:
This client is non-profit healthcare organization; They have a collaborative team environment and lots of growth potential. They offer excellent health insurance benefits. This role will work in a hybrid schedule, 2 days a week on-site and the rest of the week remote.

Duties:

• Senior Accountant will be responsible for the company's financial procedures, records, and statements for compliance with laws and regulations


• Delegate financial responsibilities to accounting team


• As a Senior Accountant, you will recommend ways to reduce costs and raise revenue


• Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and errors

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years of accounting experience


• CPA or CMA a plus but not required


• Knowledge of multi-company preparation with experience in the Healthcare industry, financial statements, annual tax filings


• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations


• Proficient knowledge with computer software is required


• High adaptability to changing needs


• Great written and oral communication


• Strong analytical skills


• Proven leadership skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
