We are currently searching for a talented Payroll Administrator to join and grow with our Finance team!

The SEH Finance team actively partners with operations and leadership to ensure the company is on track for success. This Opportunity:

  • Being the primary contact for payroll-related audit support, testing, and documentation.
  • Gather data, calculate wages, determine contributions, and provide reports.
  • Payroll processing, which includes weekly processing of timecards, changes to benefits/deductions, and payment via ADP.
  • Prepare journal entries and GL account reconciliations.
  • Year-end reporting, census reporting, and accrual worksheets.
  • Perform testing and research regarding payroll issues and new laws.
  • Research and implement new functionality in timekeeping system.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Applicants must include a personalized cover letter
  • Must reside in Minnesota, Wisconsin or Iowa with ability to report in the St. Paul office as needed
  • Previous experience completing full cycle of payroll
  • Multi State Payroll experience
  • ADP Workforce Now experience
  • General ledger and journal entry experience.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent customer service attitude.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.
  • Multi-state payroll experience.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification or a degree in Accounting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of payroll processing experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of ADP Workforce Now experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years general ledger and journal entry experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
  • ESOP experience.
  • Workday experience.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Ability to identify issues and seek/research needed information.
