As a VP, Corporate Sales at Learfield, you will be responsible for driving new business revenue by identifying, prospecting, and securing multi-year, multi-million, multi-property strategic partnerships with corporate clients. Leveraging your expertise in sales and relationship-building, you will play a critical role in expanding our portfolio of corporate partners and maximizing revenue opportunities by selling the full suite of LEARFIELD assets on a national scale incorporating IP, marketing rights, digital content, NIL, and signature assets.

Responsibilities:

  • New Business Development: Identify and prioritize target accounts. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to prospect, pitch, and close new corporate partnership deals.
  • Prospecting and Outreach: Utilize a combination of data-based tools, cold calling, networking, and relationship-building techniques to engage prospective clients and generate leads. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with client partners and prospects.
  • Consultative Selling: Understand the unique needs and objectives of potential partners and tailor solutions to meet their marketing and business objectives. Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized sponsorship packages and proposals.
  • Revenue Growth: Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals by consistently delivering results and driving incremental business opportunities. Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and local properties to deliver integrated solutions and ensure seamless execution of partnership agreements. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on sales activities, progress, and results.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in sports sponsorship sales or related field, with a proven track record of success in driving new business revenue.
  • Strong sales acumen and demonstrated ability to close complex, high-value deals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Results-driven and self-motivated, with a passion for exceeding targets and driving business growth.
  • Knowledge of sports marketing, media, and sponsorship industry trends and best practices.
  • Successful track record as both a sole contributor and a member of broader sales team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited four-year college or university

Pay Transparency:

The approximate base pay range for this position is $175,000 to $250,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience as well as geographic location.
