Job Description:

PURPOSE:
Responsible for maximizing profitability through inventory management. Manages the day-to- day functions of product shelf-life expiration resolution, disposition of discontinued product inventory, and resolution of aged inventory. Responsible for producing and analyzing reports, identification of inventory challenges, ability to identify root cause, and determine appropriate corrective actions. Strong research, analytical, communication, and negotiation skills necessary in developing a collaborative approach to resolution. Work with IPAR forecasting and Replenishment teams in identification and management of excess inventory resolution and process improvement.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Demonstrates an understanding of supply chain and implement multi-functional
decisions to better processes
• Strong understanding of manufacturing process.
• Computer literate in Excel, Word, Adobe Reader and the ability to learn proprietary host
systems
• Pass I/O training with a high level of comprehension
• High level of negotiation skills in resolution of spoils, excess, aged, and obsolete
inventory
• Support management functions in performing analysis aimed at inventory management
and processes
• Communicate effectively; clear, concise, timely and accurately
• Document and track multiple projects through multiple stages. Hold others accountable
to deadlines and communicate status
• Provide liaison services between vendors and departments for procurement procedures
and problem resolution
• Display confidence and composure during time of pressure and ambiguity
• Build relationships effectively, coordinate with sales organization to increase sales
opportunity
• Demonstrates ability to solve problems through supplier, customer, and internal
department negotiations
• Demonstrates ability to solve problems relative to procurement actions such as supplier
disputes Customer agreements, conformance with contract law, and in coordination with
legal counsel when indicated
• Results driven without management involvement, ability to work in ambiguity
• Assists lower-level Associates with complex procurement problems
• Meets deadlines and manages special projects as assigned
• Maintains records in accordance with established policies, procedures, and audit
guidelines

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education/ Certifications: (Required & Preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
Experience:
• Two (2) or more years of experience that is directly related to the duties and
responsibilities specified
Skills/ Abilities:

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT/ DEMANDS:
• Some travel may be required
• Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment
• Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at desk or computer terminal
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use
hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
• Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephone and other office equipment in the
course of normal workday
• Stooping, bending, twisting and reaching may be required in completion of job duties
