Job Description:

SK pharmteco, Small Molecule, U.S., (SKPT SMUS) is a custom manufacturer of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs, Drug Substances) and registered intermediates for customers in the pharmaceutical industry. Our U.S. integrated facilities specialize in process development, scale-up, and cGMP compliant production from kilograms to multi-ton quantities.


We are looking for a Shipping / Traffic Coordinator to work on-site at our Rancho Cordova, CA location. This is an hourly position.


This person will provide general and specialized shipping including preparing and assembling documentation and shipment. Performs Inventory Count and Oracle Data Entry. Ensures compliance of all shipping regulations, safety, and cGMP. Must be able to work in a Chemical Manufacturing environment. Works under general supervision.



JOB SUMMARY



Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepares documents for outgoing shipments.


• Routes shipments by common carriers.


• Coordinates with customer (internal and external). Participates in customer audits.


• Maintains shipping log and files, such as packing lists, packaging instructions, shipment pictures, labels and other shipping documents.


• Ensures compliance of all shipping regulations (49CFR DOT and IATA), safety, and cGMP; updates re-certification for shipment of dangerous goods.


• Trains Material and Shipping Coordinator as back-up.


• Promptly communicates any issue that may lead to shipment interruptions or delays and coordinates necessary actions.


• Leads the whole pre-shipment preparations, including packaging and documentation.


• Updates Oracle shipping transactions.


• Timely coordination of shipment of empty cylinders, samples, return to vendors, and other miscellaneous duties.


• General duties as assigned.


• Performs Inventory Count and Oracle Data Entry


• Submits CTD's As needed

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Typically requires 1-3 years of related experience and a high school diploma or equivalent OR may have 0 years of experience plus an associate's degree, or additional training, or certification.


• Knowledge of practices and procedures in area of assignment.

COMPETENCIES/SKILLS

• Ability to perform diversified but semi-repetitive operations following standardized methods and procedures under changing conditions.


• Ability to work independently.


• Ability to work successfully with equipment such as phone, fax, computer, weights and scales.


• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)

CERTIFICATIONS and LICENCES

• Certifications for shipping dangerous goods, specifically 49 CFR DOT and IATA required
