Job Description:


Basic Job Functions:




The role of Accounts Payable Admin includes but is not limited to researching and processing account payable invoices, balancing batches, filing and submitting to supervisors for approval, assisting vendors, and reconciling invoices with receivers as well as organizing invoices and assisting with weekly and monthly check processing and covering the switchboard as needed. This position requires being able to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime including weekends and holidays as business conditions warrant.


Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.




Minimum Qualifications:






  • Bachelor's degree in a Business related field or one year prior experience in finance






Preferred Qualifications:






  • Previous experience in accounting-related field

  • Previous experience in manufacturing
