Responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods and services for a company.

This person will work closely with suppliers and vendors to negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.

They also ensure that all purchases are made in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and source potential suppliers and vendors
  • Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules
  • Ensure that all purchases are made in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments to determine purchasing needs
  • Track and report on purchasing activities
  • Resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers or vendors

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus but not required
  • 2+ years of experience in industrial packaging procurement
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software
