JOB TITLE:

Hydroform Operator/Sheet Metal Fabrication

 

PAY SCALE:

$14.00-$17.00 per hour based on experience

 

Job Description:

Responsibly operate power & hand tools to remove burrs, nicks, scratches, rough and sharp edges from sheet metal parts.

 

• Operate Hydro Press, Hammer Flanges and Set Joggles
• Operate tools that deburr and break sharp edges on parts.
• Perform various hand-finishing operations
• Use gages, calipers, and other measuring equipment to check and ensure part quality.
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed to maintain quality and workmanship.
• Must be able to lift, up to 30 pounds and be able to sit and stand for up to 10 hours per shift
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. US citizen or permanent resident (ITAR requirement)

Inspection of parts, basic blueprint reading, simple arithmetic, acceptable attendance, positive attitude, and willingness to work overtime if needed are all qualifications required to successfully perform this job. 

 

HOURS: 

Monday-Thursday 6:30-5:00 (4 ten hour days) 3 day weekends unless overtime required

 

Experience:

Experienced candidate wanted, but willing to train someone that can learn fast
