This position operates within a device manufacturing division of our global client, which focuses on improving quality of life via the provision and design of device and management solutions for certain health-related conditions. This role is vital within the Decision-Making Finance team, where it assists in fostering financial understanding, promoting cost-effectiveness, and streamlining processes. In this position, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate planning and reporting of financial information, offering standard cost analysis, and implementing improvements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead inventory consolidation and forecast efforts during all planning and reporting phases
Perform variance analysis to support business decisions
Conduct regular financial reviews and provide valuable inputs to achieve financial targets
Offer scenario analytics to strategic projects and long-range planning
Develop, monitor, and automate essential financial metrics
Consolidate financials from various international manufacturing sites and present clear communications to high-level executives on business performance while identifying improvement opportunities
Provide ad-hoc analyses to support decision-making processes and propose recommendations
Identify potential areas of improvement and propose efficient solutions
Support occasional internal and external audit requests
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field
Minimum of 5 years' experience in progressive accounting and/or financial planning and analysis
Advanced proficiency levels with Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent communication skills
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Precision and detail-oriented
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
An MBA/CPA is an asset
Experience with SAP ERP and Hyperion Planning/Essbase systems
Ability to handle time-sensitive tasks in high-pressure situations
Ability to adapt effectively to and work proactively in uncertain situations
Strong goal-orientation and the ability to take initiative.
