Finance Manager, R&D accounting at SDL Search Partners in Cambridge, Massachusetts

Job Description:

Global, industry-leading biotech company is searching for a Finance & Accounting Manager, R&D. This Finance Manager will be a key business partner to the clinical trials team, owning the full accounting process for Phase 2 & Phase 3 clinical trials. Reporting to the Director of R&D Accounting, the Finance Manager will lead all month end close, reporting & analysis and clinical trial budget to actual analysis.

Team works on a hybrid schedule in Cambridge. The role is designed with a growth track in mind to Associate Director level, and the ideal candidate will want to grow with the organization. Strong total compensation including base + bonus + profit share.

Qualifications:

-BS, Accounting / Finance

-CPA & prior public accounting a plus, but not required

-5+ years of accounting experience within biotech / life sciences / pharmaceuticals

-prior R&D accounting / clinical trials accounting experience

-excellent business partnering skills, able to build strong relationships on a global scale

-process-improvement minded individual, eager to impact change and bring new ideas to the table

-desire to grow long term with the organization
