Insight Global is looking for a Systems Engineer to join the team of one of their higher education clients in Metro Detroit. This person must have a strong technical aptitude in Systems Engineering/Administration, and must have strong expertise in Enterprise Information Systems. This position is a hybrid role in Livonia, MI.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
Installations, testing and maintenance of systems
Higher education software- Ellucian
Configuration & maintenance of servers & OS
Managing SQL databases
Optimization
Troubleshooting
Creating/managing of application/system integrations
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in IT field of study
8+ years of system engineering/admin experience
Expertise within enterprise information systems management
Expertise within OS - Windows/Linux/Unix
Strong scripting skills
Expertise in creating/managing system & application integrations
Strong professional experience with system application & database design
SQL expertise
Experience in developing/maintaining ERP systems
Experience in higher education industry
Knowledge/exposure to web servers- Tomcat, etc.
Must be a go getter, and be a great team collaborator
