Job Description:

40 hours per week - Monday through Friday, with some flexibility

We are seeking a dynamic Director of Operations!

Key Responsibilities:


  • Family Support & Finance Departments (45%):

  • Work collaboratively with the Family Support Center and the Finance Department to ensure all policies and procedures are followed related to purchase management, documentation and other functions

  • Provide training and support to Family Support Center staff on specific job functions related to flexible funding and documentation

  • Develop and monitor a system of checks and balances as it relates to fund allocated for families who are in need of financial assistance.

  • Create, update department policies and procedures as needed

  • Conduct internal audits of contact notes, expenditure tracking.

  • Training and Mentoring of Residential Managers (45%):

  • Provide training, supervision and mentoring for Residential Managers for their first 3 months of employment with BCL

  • Agency-Wide (10%):

  • Create, maintain and distribute Procedural Manuals for each department throughout the agency

  • Collaborate with the Executive and Administrative team on special projects 

Required Education and Experience


  • Must be at least 18 years of age and have a current, valid, US driver’s license

  • Must be able to successfully pass a CORI check, and a Driving Record Check.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Human Services
