Location: Fort Worth Children's Dentistry521 Bellaire Dr., Fort Worth, TX
Job Type: Full-Time
Hours:
Monday-Thursday: 7:45 AM to 5 PMFriday: 7:45 AM to 12 PM
Requirements:
Active Texas RDA licenseCPR and BLS certifiedBilingual preferred
Description: As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring children develop healthy habits and a lifetime of beautiful smiles! If you have a heart for children and enjoy working with a fun team of like-minded professionals dedicated to quality care, we would love to speak with you!
Pediatric Dental Assisting experience is preferred; however, we will support the training and development of an experienced dental assistant. Our ideal candidate loves kids, is flexible and reliable, and seeks to grow professionally.
Responsibilities:
Assist dentists with various procedures and treatmentsPrepare and maintain dental instruments, supplies, and equipmentEnsure patient comfort and manage patient flowTake and develop dental radiographs (x-rays)Provide patient education and post-treatment care instructionsMaintain accurate patient records and documentationFollow all OSHA and HIPAA regulations and guidelines
Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to multitask and manage time efficientlyProficiency with dental software and digital charting
