Registers patients efficiently and accurately, obtains updated information and inputs information accurately into computer system. Acts as the liaison between the patient and back office, informs patients of any delays and informing the nurses of a patients arrival. Inputs office charges in computer; assures all charges have pertinent billing information, i.e. patient demographics, ICD10 and CPT codes assigned by physician.
Answers telephone in a pleasant manner and transfers calls to appropriate person or documents phone calls accurately. Compiles and records medical charts, reports, and correspondence.
