SUMMARY
To provide on-site direction of office operations of non-provider staff in order to achieve patient satisfaction regarding timely, caring access and service. Provide superior customer service by modeling the Brand Promise and Core Values.

SCHEDULE: Weekdays, flexibility required
ATTRIBUTES
A.A.S. Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
One to three years experience in an ambulatory health care setting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Staff Operations. Prepares timecards accurately. Manages overtime. Keeps business office staff informed of changes and policies. Investigates patient and staff complaints and coordinates with Practice Manager for documentation and follow-up. Maintains office staffing schedules, and provides a procedure for covering absences.
Patient Scheduling. Works with professional staff on developing patient scheduling to improve accessibility, efficiency, and fiscal stability.
Office Operations. Coordinates office operations and staffing with providers to improve efficiency and cost-effective management procedures. Coordinates all aspects of office operations, including building/grounds maintenance and repairs; housekeeping, security, and safety; state and local codes, ordinances, permits and inspections. Identifies problems and provides alternatives and/or resolutions after thorough analysis of relative information. Consults with lead provider/director of practice management as appropriate. Is accountable for the financial operations of the office and assures accurate and timely input of all necessary data including demographic information, coding, charges, statistical information, and month end data. Responsible for the process of collection and reconciliation of cash. Assures transfer of cash for deposit. Is custodian for petty cash fund.
Organization and Time Management. Sets priorities and manages time efficiently. Serves as a resource and role model for staff. Completes assignments and special projects within established timeframes.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: S - Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
PAY RANGE: $19.75 - $25.00
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
