Job Description:

As the Digital Growth Analyst, you will support the strategy and delivery of numerous initiatives & partnerships focused on driving e-Commerce growth across Best Buy categories. Within this role you’ll need to be familiar across ecommerce best practices and supporting capabilities (ex. Supply Chain, Order Management) to identify and drive growth across a variety of assigned initiatives. You will work with external partners, as well as with technology teams and numerous other internal cross-functional teams to successfully launch and grow prioritized opportunities. We are seeking a candidate who thinks strategically while being able to execute on tactical operational & business improvements. With the team’s focus on testing/growing in emerging spaces, this individual must also be comfortable with ambiguity and be self-motivated to seek out answers and forge new paths without relying on existing processes.

This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days on site at the Best Buy Richfield, MN Corporate Campus and some days virtually from home or other non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

What you’ll do


  • Support various growth initiatives and provide recommendations on how to grow/optimize in support of business teams’ financial goals.

  • Use a solid understanding of e-commerce, key supporting functions, and common ecosystem partners (ex. Marketplaces, Social Commerce, etc.) to evaluate current BBY initiatives and identify future opportunities for growth.

  • Utilize online analytics tools/KPIs (ex. Traffic, conversion, etc.) to quickly synthesize data into actionable recommendations.

  • Articulate e-Commerce Business Metrics to budget & yearly overviews (category conversion, revenue & profit, traffic trends, page metrics and user behaviors) and drive timely recommendations to achieve business goals.

  • Effectively partner cross-functionally across DAT, Operations, Supply Chain, Legal, Accounting, Finance, in support of advancing digital growth initiatives.

  • Identify opportunities to optimize processes, and drive efficiencies leveraging systems/technology to reduce labor needs and drive increased scalability for Best Buy.


Basic qualifications

  • 1 year of e-Commerce, retail, e-Commerce product experience, and/or industry experience in marketing, merchandising, inventory planning, operations, or online marketing/web analytics

  • 1 year of experience in MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint


Preferred qualifications

  • 2 years of e-Commerce, retail, e-Commerce product experience, and/or industry experience in marketing, merchandising, inventory planning, operations, or online marketing/web analytics

  • 6 months of experience collaborating in highly matrixed organizations

  • General knowledge of strategy practices supporting horizontal initiatives

  • Adobe Analytics experience
