Job Description:

The Beverage Process Engineer is responsible for continuous improvement

regarding the changeover process in the area, setting up an organized and uniform system to perform changeovers, perform preventative maintenance, assist in the technical training of associates, and responsible for developing and implementing improved production processes.

You Will


  • Ensure safety devices on equipment are in place and functioning properly.

  • Teach and help to monitor and perform necessary process adjustments and record all changes within SPC machine logs.

  • Convey the priorities of the department (safety, quality, reliability, and scrap) and help to welcome and acclimate new associates to the Beverage Team.

  • Work with Process Technicians and Team Leaders to resolve technical process problems.

  • Responsible for performing training in a hands-on Beverage environment.

  • Train associates on how to perform proper profile adjustments.

  • Work in a safe and efficient manner at all times.

  • Work in accordance with all BOS/QMS requirements and maintain quality standards.

  • Work within 6S standards and drive TPM initiatives. 

  • Responsible for maintaining ISO standards.

  • Maintain Process Set Up Sheets for various products / materials and ensure availability at lines. 

  • Work to develop and set up new products through qualification processes.

  • Daily monitoring of quality data to ensure adherence to customer standards.   

  • Make adjustments and repairs on machinery in the designated work area.

  • Maintain blow molder ovens and take ownership of scheduled maintenance on this equipment.

  • Follow correct housekeeping and safety procedures.

  • Must take an active approach in dealing with process issues.

  • Responsible for reporting food safety issues to personnel with authority to initiate action.

You Have


  • Bachelor’s degree in related Engineering Field for Manufacturing preferred.

  • Must have strong leadership skills.

  • Must be able to communicate in a positive and effective manner with associates.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Must be proactive and detail oriented.

  • Basic Computer (Microsoft Office) literacy to utilize SAP

  • Previous experience in plastics or similar technical area.
