A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.


  • Assure compliance with all Medtronic processes and policies, including a high-level understanding of all quality policy/systems that are applicable
  • Manage MedEd quality documents to include but not limited to periodic reviews, semi-annual assessments, and non-conformance issues.
  • Maintain all Sales Training MedReview documents to insure correct approvals, reviews, and distribution through the MedReview system
  • Manage Pain Interventions and Brain Modulation therapy Eloqua Campaigns to include design, build, test, deliver and measure.
  • Develops, fosters and maintains key relationships with healthcare professionals, and medical third-party meeting/society organizations strategically aligned with the business to increase market access and development opportunities, and to aid in the education of other healthcare professionals
  • Supports and implements third party meeting on-site participation strategy and concepts; ensures alignment with market, surgeon/HCP audience, technology/procedural solutions, and brand strategies
  • Lead the development and execution of national customer advisor strategy and scheduling logistics
  • Drive the logistics for the Society and Fellows key opinion leader (KOL) identification, development, and society board programs that align to business and engagement strategies.
  • Act as an advisor and Principal Specialist to the field organization for the Fellows and Accelerate program(s)
  • Assist the Fellows/Accelerate program(s) to include but not limited to: Eloqua, Job Listings, and MDT Academy
  • Collaborate with cross functional groups (Marketing, Sales) to execute training programs that support business unit strategies and comply with regulatory, quality systems and Business Conduct Standards
  • Maintain knowledge of therapies, products, and business strategies
  • Assist Sales Training to ensure new all hires are signed off to meet compliance requirements
  • Partner with Pain Interventions and Brain Modulation therapy curriculum managers in reviewing materials.
  • Identify and implement improvements to enhance clinician experience, reach and impact of education programs
  • Exhibit strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and time management
  • Work independently under limited supervision
  • Be flexible and able to adapt to changing requirements and priorities
  • Travel requirement

Must Have: Minimum Requirements


  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience in a role where you helped arrange, manage, and execute training programs
  • Experience working with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), Marketing and Sales
  • Experience in supporting or planning Medical Education programs for the medical device industry

The provided base salary range is used nationally (except in certain CA locations). The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
