An M-Ventures funded biotech start-up is poised to seize the opportunity at the intersection between our Healthcare and Life Science Divisions. With the agility of a startup and the resources of a leading multinational organization, the targeted mRNA delivery team is transforming the way researchers develop mRNA therapies. As an initial member of the digital team, you will work on crafting a groundbreaking, digital platform to enable the therapeutic delivery of mRNA. You will use your knowledge and understanding of AI, cheminformatics, and bioinformatics to develop digital representations of biological molecules focusing on the unique interactions and complexities of lipid structure, interactions, and self-assembly to accelerate the development of mRNA-based therapeutics. You interface with lab-based colleagues to determine effective strategies for developing real-world computational models and use your expertise in biological modelling to inform molecular representations of lipid systems. Utilizing skills and knowledge of computational techniques in biology and chemistry you will assist in making strides at the forefront of mRNA innovation. You will be working in an interdisciplinary team that includes chemists, biologists, data scientists, and software engineers based around the world. This position requires minimal travel of less than 10%



Who You Are:




Minimum Qualifications:



Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Cheminformatics, Bioinformatics, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science or other Science or Computational field 3+ years of experience working with computational chemistry techniques



Preferred Qualifications:



PhD degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Cheminformatics, Bioinformatics, Chemical Engineering, or Computer Science 1+ years working in computational chemistry or cheminformatics in the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or Life Science industryProficient with cheminformatics and MD programming tools, including Python, RDKit, Gromacs, NAMD, VMD, etc. and agile working methodsFamiliarity with Palantir Foundry or AWS computing platforms Experience working in multi-disciplinary and cross-cultural teamsExcellent communication skills
