SUMMARY: Responsible for responding to customer and intra-company requests for ship assist and/or escort services.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Crew and dispatch tugs to meet customer requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner, as directed.
• Gather and record data related to each job or customer request to meet operational guidelines. Serve as 24-hour contact for customers and vessels.
• Coordinate activities of operations department regarding use of equipment, facilities, and crew.
• Assist personnel coordinator with maintenance of personnel files, work assignments and training records.

EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent, with course work after high school and job-related training or Associate's degree.

EXPERIENCE:2 - 3 years of experience in an operations or customer service position.

TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY: Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook and Word.

JOB SCOPE: Position impacts multiple business units/segments.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like. Extended use of a computer keyboard, viewing of a computer monitor and the ability to sit for long periods of time.
