MEP Superintendent/PM at HAYS in Long Island, New York

I am partnered with New York-based Design Build GC/CM, which has been in business for over 40 years focused on core & shell/out of the ground projects. The portfolio includes large-scale retail, industrial warehousing, mixed-use residential developments, and commercial buildings across the tri-state area. Their typical project range is $20MM - $50MM, but they have extensive experience with projects valued over $100MM.



Your new role :
• Planning and organizing project work to ensure all work is done in accordance with the contract
• Creating and updating monthly project work schedules
• Performing in-depth reviews of designs, drawings and contracts
• Supervising all the contractor work to ensure timely and cost-effective implementation of projects
• Coordinating and liaising with clients, subcontractors, consultants, property inspectors and regulatory authorities
• Training and mentoring Assistant Superintendents and Project/Office Engineers
• Conducting safety inspections to ensure on-site working conditions and habits adhere to the required standards
• Assisting in the preparation of operations/maintenance manuals and project closeout documentation



What you'll need to succeed :

• 10+ years Superintendent Experience


• Experience with MEP aspects such as Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Sprinklers


• Warehouse Project Experience


• New York Project Experience
