Responsibilities:



  • Management of Enterprise Data Dictionary:

    • Maintain and update the enterprise data dictionary to catalog and define all data assets, including metadata, data lineage, and data quality rules.

    • Collaborate with data stewards and subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and completeness of data definitions and classifications.

    • Establish processes for capturing, reviewing, and approving changes to the data dictionary, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and policies.




  • Administration of Data Governance Applications:

    • Oversee the implementation and administration of data governance tools and applications, such as data lineage tools, data quality management systems, and metadata repositories.

    • Configure and customize data governance applications to meet the specific needs and requirements of the organization.

    • Provide user training and support to promote adoption and utilization of data governance applications across the organization.




  • Data Standards and Policies:

    • Define and maintain data standards, policies, and best practices to govern the use, sharing, and management of organizational data.

    • Work with stakeholders to establish data quality metrics and KPIs, and develop mechanisms for monitoring and reporting on data quality issues.

    • Collaborate with legal, compliance, and risk management teams to ensure data governance practices comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.




  • Data Governance Framework:

    • Contribute to the development and implementation of a comprehensive data governance framework, including governance structures, processes, and roles.

    • Participate in data governance committees and working groups to drive alignment and consensus on data governance initiatives and priorities.

    • Continuously assess and improve the effectiveness of the data governance framework to support the organization's evolving data management needs.



Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in data governance, data management, or related roles, with a strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices.

  • Experience managing enterprise data dictionary and data governance applications (e.g., Collibra, Informatica Axon, IBM InfoSphere, etc.).

  • Familiarity with data modeling, metadata management, and data quality concepts and techniques.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex data governance challenges.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functional teams and levels of the organization.

  • Certification in data management or data governance (e.g., CDMP, DGSP, etc.) is a plus.

We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $64,900 -- $157,100 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. During the hiring process, your recruiter can provide more information about the specific salary range for the job location.

CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
