Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in San Francisco, CA that is seeking a Security Systems Administrator.

SaaS Security Architecture and Design:

• Design and implementation patterns of secure architectures with a primary focus on SaaS systems


• Equipped with the requisite knowledge to identify and manage security vulnerabilities across a wide range of SaaS applications (Google Workspaces, SalesForce, Workday, etc.)


• A strong understanding of secure authentication and authorization mechanisms, focusing on Identity Providers (IdPs) and Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions


• Develop and maintain security documentation and best practices

System Security Management:

• Deploy, configure, and manage a wide variety of enterprise security solutions, including device configuration, service configuration, and SSPM (Software as a Service Posture Management) solutions


• Provide support to partner teams that perform regular security assessments and vulnerability scans

Automation and Scripting:

• Automate security tasks to improve efficiency and effectiveness


• Develop scripts for systems security management

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with partner teams, on various cross-collaborative initiatives as needed


• Communicate security risks and solutions effectively to stakeholders at all levels


• Stay up-to-date on the latest security trends and technologies

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience


• 5+ years of experience in enterprise security systems engineering or a related role


• Proven experience with deploying, configuring, and managing SaaS security solutions. Specific experience with Umbrella and Zscaler is highly desired


• Strong understanding of security best practices


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills


• Strong communication and collaboration skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Excellent written and oral communication skills


• Must be proficient in speaking English


• Strong experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
