Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Ashburn, VA that is seeking a UI Front End Developer with Spring Boot and Microservices experience to support the ongoing modernization and maintenance of a federal agency's information systems, using JAVA/JEE.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and implement JEE software applications


• Use modern software engineering tools and methodologies, including Eclipse, and Atlassian Products (Jira, Confluence)


• Work with users in an Agile development approach to understand requirements, then elicit feedback and refine solutions through demonstrations


• Present the solution at formal and informal design reviews, and document the design according to the Government's system lifecycle methodology

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of technical experience


• 5 years of experience developing front end application in frontend Angular (primary v10 or above)


• 3 years of experience in Single Page Application Development using JavaScript framework (Angular 8+ or ReactJS 5+)


• 2 years of experience with state management (NgRx)


• 1+ years of experience with Java/JEE


• Experience with Angular, Ngrx, and Angular library development


• Experience in UI performance tuning and Component/Layout design


• Proven record of understanding HTML5, CSS3(flexbox, flexgrid), SASS and theme development


• Experience in developing reusable components and libraries (building NPM packages)


• Experience working with JEE Web Tier Technologies (JSP, Servlets, MVC Frameworks)


• Experience working with JEE Servers (like Spring boot, Tomcat, WebSphere, etc.)


• Advanced experience with unit testing


• Experience working with microservices design and implement design patterns

Hands-on experience with:

• HTML, JavaScript, CSS


• AWS (EC2, S3, etc.)


• jQuery, Angular, React


• JEE Web Tier Technologies (JSP, Servlets, MVC Frameworks)


• SQL


• XML


• Unix, Linux


• Database Connectivity (JDBC, JPA, Hibernate)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
