Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Salt Lake City, UT that is seeking a skilled and experienced Oracle Database Administrator with a strong background in Exadata to join one of their clients. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our Exadata migration efforts, ensuring the seamless transition and optimal performance of our database systems. This role requires a deep understanding of Oracle Database technologies, Exadata configurations, and associated administrative tasks.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 4+ years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator with a focus on Exadata


• Proven experience in Exadata migration and administration


• Strong knowledge of ADG configuration and management


• Proficiency in switchover and failover processes


• Expertise in Oracle RAC multimode administration


• Solid experience with Oracle Linux administration


• Familiarity with Oracle Multitenant Database administration


• Ability to write scripts and JCL for database management and tuning complex SQL code


• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve data issues efficiently


• Excellent communication and project management skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
