Purpose of the Job:Prepare transformers for resale by cleaning and painting.

Essential Functions: Surface prep including cleaning, sanding, rust removal, and tapping. Paint selection and mixing. Spray painting transformers in spray booth. Inspecting and assessing spray coatings. Removing tape and prepping the transformers for resale. Application of required decals. Responsible for maintaining painting equipment and painting work area. Follows prescribed safety procedures for facility operations and paint area production.

Qualifications to Meet Minimum Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Experience working as a spray painter. • Knowledge of paint mixing and spraying techniques. • Experience with breathing mask and personnel protective equipment.• Ability to stand for long periods of time.• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally. Pay range is $18-20/hr Depending on experience.
