Benefits & Compensation Specialist - $30/hr-$35/hr - DC at Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC in Washington, Washington DC

Job Description:

Our client, a non-profit organization in Washington, DC, is seeking a temporary Benefits & Compensation Specialist to support their team!


About the Job:

• Administer employee benefits, compensation programs, and policies/procedures.


• Work with employees and answer all questions relating to benefits.


• Maintain employee benefits records and prepare reports.


• Reconcile monthly benefits billing statements.


• Assist with employee onboarding; manage/conduct new-hire orientation and annual open enrollment.


• Complete all additional tasks related to benefits.

About You:

• 4+ years of benefits and compensation administration experience.


• Bachelor's Degree is required; preferably in human resources.


• Must have knowledge of HR laws (e.g., ADA, FMLA, FLSA, Worker's Compensation, 401k, COBRA, etc.).


• Proficient in MS Office Products (especially Excel); proficient in ADP (or another HRIS).


• Must be detail-oriented with excellent oral/written communication, time management, and organizational skills.

About the Position:

• $30/hr-$35/hr, depending on experience.


• Temporary with a strong possibility to become permanent.


• Hours are 9:00am-5:00pm.


• Hybrid schedule with 3 days/week onsite after training.


• Metro accessible Washington, DC office.
