Job Description:

Position Overview:
• Formulates compounds autonomously and conducts ongoing assessments of product stability, while also exploring alternative formulations as needed.
• Innovates and refines skincare formulations and processes, grasping the nexus between formulation intricacies and manufacturing.
• Demonstrates adeptness in cross-functional collaboration within R&D and related departments to propel projects forward effectively.
• Proficiently integrates knowledge of processing, operational, and design variables influencing skincare formulations.
• Collaborates closely with Regulatory, QC & Compliance to ensure adherence to FDA standards for formulation specifications.
• Manages multiple concurrent projects adeptly under stringent timelines.
• Acquires proficiency with specialized software platforms or systems as required.
• Adheres strictly to GMP guidelines, SOPs, and safety protocols.


Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field; an advanced degree is advantageous.
• Over 5 years of hands-on experience in formulation.
• Track record of developing innovative skincare/haircare/OTC products.
• Deep familiarity with cosmetic raw materials and cutting-edge technologies.
• Thorough comprehension of laboratory and scale-up production equipment.
• Knowledgeable about cosmetic manufacturing protocols and operations.
• Exhibits both independent work capabilities and strong collaborative skills.
• Comfortable mentoring junior chemists and fostering a team environment.
• Demonstrates a knack for creative problem-solving and thinking outside conventional bounds.


Job Details:
• Full-time position
• Salary range: $75,000 - $150,000
