Position Details:



Summary of Duties:


This position performs semi-skilled and sub journey work in the maintenance, repair, remodeling, alterations and construction of buildings, grounds, facilities, and equipment. Perform general maintenance on building interiors and exteriors. Coordinate and work with other trades and crafts in support of new or remodel construction. Lead apprentices or helpers as assigned. Operate motor vehicles as required.





Required Qualifications:




  • High school graduation or equivalent and two years of general work experience in building and equipment maintenance, construction or repair work; OR equivalent education/experience.




  • Ability to respond to an emergency outside normal business hours.




  • Possession of, or ability to obtain by time of hire, a valid driver's license.






Preferred Qualifications:




  • Experience in general carpentry - installing doors, jams, windows, subfloors, and roof repairs.




  • Experience working with other trades and entities.

Monthly Salary:



$4,282 to $4,968 | Range 44G (Steps G - M) | Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28.
