Job Description:

Associate Director, Performance & Reporting Engineering, FactSet Research Systems Inc., New York, NY: Manage a team of engineers and projects within the Performance & Reporting Engineering department. Coordinate with Engineering and Product Development leadership to define goals and resource needs. Help align short term and long term product roadmaps and objectives, play a key part in regular business planning sessions. Optimize organizational structure of department, making changes where necessary to insert leadership and support scale. Responsible for identifying and aligning shared infrastructural resources to best service the P&R team as well as the many other consumers around the SBU and company as a whole.

Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree, or higher, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field and at least 8 years of software engineering experience. Must have experience with the following: Experience managing multiple individual contributors as well as balancing multiple projects at once, experience managing large-scale infrastructure or systems, hands on experience in AWS architecture, setup and load balancing, cloud strategies and design, Expertise in .NET Framework, .NET Core, Typescript and C++, Experience in scripting languages such as Perl, Shell, Microsoft PowerShell, Extensive experience in databases including Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, AWS DynamoDB, ElasticSearch, Experience in CI/CD using Docker, Github Actions including both Windows and Linux Containers, Distributed Systems, Microsoft XPS, Agile Software Development Processes, TDD/BDD using Gherkin/Specflow. Must have full software development lifecycle experience.

Basic pay range is two hundred sixty three thousand dollars to two hundred ninety three thousand dollars per year for full -time employment (Mon. - Fri. 9-5).
