Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist - Program Lead

Position: Respiratory Therapist - Program Lead

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement respiratory care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.


• Assess, evaluate, and treat residents with respiratory conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, and pneumonia.


• Perform respiratory therapy treatments and procedures, including oxygen administration, nebulizer therapy, and chest physiotherapy.


• Provide education and support to residents and their families regarding respiratory conditions and treatment plans.


• Lead and supervise respiratory therapy staff, providing guidance and mentorship as needed.


• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards related to respiratory care.


• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize respiratory outcomes for residents.


• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and program development activities.

• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.


• Current license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in the state of CA.


• Strong leadership and communication skills.


• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.


• Knowledge of respiratory therapy equipment and techniques.
