JAVA Lead Developer/Java Fullstack at Infosys Limited in Sunnyvale, California

Job Description:

Infosys is seeking Java Lead Developer/Java Fullstack . This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Sunnyvale , CA or be willing to relocate to the area prior to onboarding.


• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.


• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience


• At least 3 years of experience in project lifecycles on development & maintenance projects, estimation methodologies, quality processes.


• At least 3 years of experience as scrum master facilitating ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand up, demos and retrospective).


• At least 3 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.


• At least 3 years of experience in Design and architecture review.


• Experience in project planning and scheduling, manage tasks and coordinate project resources to meet objectives and timelines.


• Good understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies is a pre-requisite.


• Experience in project management, agile framework, comfortable with rally, confluence, Jira.


• Knowledge of core Java, Java Script, Spring Boot, SQL and Cloud Technologies.


• Excellent problem solving, analytical and debugging skills.


• Good knowledge on software configuration management systems.


• Good customer orientation with high quality awareness.

• Knowledge of one or more programming languages,


• Knowledge of architecture frameworks, design principles, ability to comprehend & manage technology, performance engineering.


• Awareness of latest technologies and trends.


• Full stack knowledge preferred.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Optimizing code for performance.


• Experience with Agile methodologies/SCRUM.


• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.


• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

  The job entails extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.
