Job Description:

We are seeking a Medical Back Office Assistant for a Gastroenterology Practice, based out of Oldsmar and downtown Clearwater. This is a very fast paced work environment, so the ideal candidate must be able to multi-task.


Job Responsibilities:

• Answering phones


• Scheduling appointments


• Patient follow up


• Answering patient's questions


• Rooming patients


• Taking patients vitals, pulse, blood pressure, weight


• Data entry of information gathered from patients

Qualifications:

• Two years previous Medical Back Office experience


• Must be capable of working in a very high-paced working environment


• Must have a calm and personable demeanor


• Must be able to multi-task


• The ideal candidate would need to be flexible in working between both offices; 3 days in Oldsmar and 2 days in Clearwater


• Must have EMR; E-Clinicals preferably but not required

Hours: 9:00am -5:30pm Monday - Friday with a 30 minutes lunch


Pay Rate: $17-$21/ Hour D.O.E.
