Job Description:

Ultimate Staffing is looking for an AR Clerk for a manufacturing organization in the West St. Louis County area.


Job Title: Accounts Receivable Clerk


Location: West St. Louis County, on-site work only


Status: Direct Hire, Permanent


Schedule: Mon - Fri Days


Compensation: $25-27/hr


Overview:

• Prepare inbound tallies for invoicing


• Process completed write ups to generate invoices in Sage 100 ERP


• Scan checked invoices and submit to customers via email or third-party online platforms


• Update the Excel tally tracker each day with notes and prepare the next day's tab


• Monitor invoices requiring signatures prior to final submission to the customer and ensure timely completion


• Daily posting of checks, ACH payments and wire transfers


• Process estimated and manual invoices


• Create and update customer accounts in Sage 100 ERP


• Update customer terms and credit lines


• Run weekly A/R aged invoice reports to distribute to the sales team


• Address and clean up A/R issues including customer short payments, outstanding credits, write-offs, sales tax issues, etc.


• Prepare and remit monthly state sales and use tax


• Research tax rate changes on a quarterly basis

Requirements:

• 3+ years of Accounts Receivable experience or equivalent combined education and experience.


• Moderate skill level with MS Excel


• Sage ERP experience is a plus
