F&G is hiring Manager, Training & Development. This role is responsible for the design, delivery, and ongoing management of high-impact learning and development programs that support F&G's strategy. This role's focus is on the development needs throughout the employee lifecycle including onboarding, upskilling and manager capabilities. This position reports to the Director, Talent Development.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and deliver innovative programming to drive individual development planning at all levels of the organization
Monitor progress on individidual development plans and identify development opportunities across the organization
Deliver engaging, impactful content to develop managers based on manager capability gaps
Deliver instructor-led training modules and team building workshops that promote F&G's talent strategy
Support the annual calendar of development opportunities linked to the F&G Competencies
Support the strategy and implementation of the DEI Education pillar of F&G's diversity, equity and inclusion strategy
Ensure development programs and opportunities are driving employee engagement
Regularly engage with employees and managers to assess development and engagement needs
Create and implement measurement and evaluation strategy to understand impact of development opportunities individual development programs and develop recommendations based on data analysis
Responsible for the end-to-end onboarding program (Day 1 - Day 90) for new employees and managers including the facilitation of new employee orientation sessions
Use best practice research and trends to support recommended strategies, continuous improvement, and drive utilization of offerings
Partner with external vendors and trainers to supplement internal learning programs to meet the demands of the business
Collaborate with Talent Development team members to provide seamless development solutions for F&G employees, managers, and leaders
Partner with HR Business Partners to understand business needs and identify opportunities to deliver solutions
Experience and Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree required with studies in Human Resources, Business Administration or related areas
7+ years of experience working in Human Resources with 1-3 years working specifically in Talent Development/Management
Experience designing, implementing and measuring Talent Development programs
Experience managing learning and development function
Experience facilitating instructor-led and virtual instructor-led training
Experience with Cornerstone On Demand is preferred
Experience with Articulate Storyline and Articulate Rise is preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Ability to develop and deliver multi-mode communication that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of the different audiences
Knowledge of learning and adult education methodologies and tools
Excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to synthesize information into clear, concise messages in a compelling manner to internal stakeholders
Ability to build trusting, collaborative relationships with HR and cross-functional partners
Effective project management skills including the ability to manage large-scale HR projects
Ability to use data to drive descion-making
Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships and the ability to model our core values: Collaborative, Authentic, Dynamic, Empowered and Inclusive
