JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and review of the quarterly and annual financial statements (reported on Form 10-Q/K Equivalent documents) including thorough and critical review of information obtained from accounting and consolidation systems as well as elsewhere in the organization.
- Assist the manager of consolidations with the monthly and quarterly close process within the OneStream consolidations system including prepare/post journal entries, analyze equity transactions, review cash flow movements, and generally assist with timely & adequate preparation of supporting documents for internal reviews as well as external audit.
- Identify accounting and reporting issues through desktop reviews and propose solutions.
- Assist with technical accounting research and new standards implementation.
- Interface with external valuation experts for ASC 350/360 tests.
- Support new debt issuance and existing debt refinancing initiatives.
- Support external audit activities.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and CPA required.
- 5+ years progressive combined experience with a large public accounting firm and industry, preferably with a SEC filer.
- Experience with consolidation systems in consumer/industrial setting would be a plus.
- Excel proficiency at intermediate/advanced level is key for success in this role.
- Self-starter with demonstrated ability to deliver reliable & consistent output balancing speed & accuracy.
- Ability & willingness to expand scope, identify opportunities for improvement and drive change.
