We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CDL B Jet Vac Operator to join our team. As a Jet Vac Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining jet vacuum trucks to perform various cleaning and maintenance tasks. You will work closely with our team to ensure efficient and effective operations on job sites.
As a Jet Vac Operator, some of your responsibilities will include operating jet vacuum trucks to clean and maintain sewer lines, catch basins, and storm drains. This will involve driving the truck to the designated location, setting up the equipment, and using high-pressure water and vacuum systems to remove debris and blockages. You will also be responsible for conducting preventive maintenance on the equipment, troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise, and ensuring the safety and compliance of all operations.

Please note that we are a 24/7 operation and some overnights are required. Some travel may be required once a month for business needs and can be up to one week at a time.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform duties in conjunction with a work crew to clean and clear sewers, catch basins and remove wastewater.
Drive and operate company trucks and equipment.
Service various customer needs using company equipment.
Operate Jet Vac and related equipment.
Complete paperwork related to the work and company / customer requirements.
Interact with customers to ensure the work is completed to their satisfaction.
Communicate with office regarding obstacles, needs and customer interactions.
Document any changes to the scope of work or project changes.
Accept additional duties and responsibilities as required.
Troubleshoot equipment, repair, or facilitate repair as necessary
Strong understanding of jet vacuum truck operations and be proficient in using the equipment
Job Requirements:
CDL Class A or B license
Tanker and Air Brake Endorsement
Clean Driving Record
DOT Medical Card Ability to read a map Ability to lift 70 lbs.
Ability to pull hose up to 500 feet
Ability to understand DOT requirements and regulations
Availability for a significant amount of overtime during peak periods
Honesty/ Integrity required
Attendance and punctuality required
Ability to communicate both written and verbal
Requires work performed in outdoor environments/exposure to variable and adverse weather conditions
Exposure to moving mechanical parts and vibration
Exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, heights, and confined spaces
Exposure to noxious odors/fumes and moderate to high noise levels
Exposure to bodily fluids / human waste, etc.
Possibility of working out of town for extended periods of time
Moderate lifting - no greater than 40 lbs.; moderate reaching, pushing, pulling, gripping, and grasping. No fine manipulation or fine manual dexterity required.
Ability to stand for a full shift in addition to walking, climbing stairs and bending as required.
