Job Summary:


  • Oversees the overall LMS implementation to completion, working directly with the LMS vendor and dealing with any issues that arise.

  • The project manager tracks all significant milestones in the LMS implementation process to ensure all deadlines are met.

  • Partners closely with Global Talent COE, HRIS, IT Experts, Risk and Compliance Experts, Business and HR Leaders. 

  • Role reports into and is part of the Global Talent Management & Organizational Effectiveness COE Team.   

Essential Functions & Accountabilities:


  • Assessment and Planning: Leads business needs analysis and confirms business requirements. Reviews current state and assists with vision around future state. 

  • Project Management: Creating project charter, including budgeting, resources, and key deliverables and milestones; Managing project plan with HRIS; Engages key stakeholders to gather, needs, requirements, input and to ensure buy-in.

  • Change Management and User Adoption:  Leads development of robust change management plan, including communications, training (non-system and system).  Develops a comprehensive communications training program for administrators, instructors, and users. Implements a phased approach for introducing the LMS to users.

  • Testing Configuration: User interface and specific functionalities. With HRIS, establishes user roles, permissions, and integrations with other systems (if needed).

  • Branding:  Tailors the LMS to fit organizational branding.

  • Content Migration and Development: Audits and assesses existing learning content for relevance and compatibility with the new LMS. With HRIS, manages transfer and migration of relevant content to the new system or develop new content as needed.

  • Quality Assurance of Learning Content: Tests content functionality and user experience within the LMS.  With HRIS, manages the approach to system testing and user acceptance testing. 

  • User Support and Ongoing Maintenance: Agrees with HR on the strategy and documentation for ongoing support and resources to ensure user adoption and to address any issues.  This includes overall strategy, project charter, project plan, change management plan, and non-system training assets.

  • Deployment Strategy: Leads the development of the deployment strategy. Agrees the go-live date with stakeholders. Monitors system performance post-launch and escalates issues for support and resolution if needed.

  • Evaluation and Continuous Improvement: Gathers feedback from users to identify areas for improvement. Defines success metrics and reports related to tracking user adoption and LMS effectiveness.

Travel: 

Possibly 5% = 3 weeks per year 

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:



  • Technology systems project management, change management: Able to lead complex projects with cross functional stakeholders. Ability to deal with competing priorities and to manage time appropriately. Able to independently plan work, review results and accomplish goals. Competent in Microsoft Suite, HR Digital Systems and Solutions.  


  • 5yrs + experience in L&D, which includes implementing a global LMS (ideally multiple times): and managing digital learning management systems, global learning vendors. Oracle HCM and/or other industry leading LMS platform implementation experience is required.  Ability to QA and troubleshoot technical delivery issues across multiple platforms and devices. 


  • Team oriented: Experience in working globally and with global technology implementation project teams.  Ability to effectively lead cross functional teams and collaborate with diverse, international colleagues in a global cultural environment.


  • Results driven: Resolves business problems, demonstrating a mindset of innovation and continuous improvement.   • Preferred experience: Experience with a content management system (CMS) for building web pages. Experience in Articulate 360, Camtasia Studio, SCORM, HTML5, and Adobe Creative Suite. Aptitude to learn new authoring tools and techniques as needed. 

Work Environment:


  • This role is remote; However, there could be some limited travel as required by the business and always with notice to help manage any life commitments.

  • Prolonged sitting in front of a computer

Experience:


  • Approximately 7 years of commercial or business experience in the areas of Learning & Development and LMS implementation.

Education:


  • BA or BS or equivalent work experience

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $49.18 and $65.58 per hour and may include cost of living adjustments.  The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future.  This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
