The Simulation Collaborative seeks a Simulation Operations Specialist OR Simulation Operations Specialist Intermediate to support the education of medical students, nursing students, and other members of the healthcare team in the Simulation Collaborative, Anatomy Lab, and Surgical Skills Training Center (SSTC). They assist in educational activities by offering pre- and post-simulation and surgical training support, coordinating technical and administrative tasks, maintaining documentation and resources, conducting simulation sessions, and collaborating with faculty and staff on skills and scenario development. This position will support the daily operations of the Simulation Collaborative, the Anatomy Lab, the Surgical Skills Training Center, and other healthcare education activities, facilitating high-quality experiential learning activities for our learners.
It is anticipated that the majority (greater than 90%) of your effort will be the following duties:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Qualified candidates will be considered for the following positions.
Specialist:
Education: Associates degree or experiential or functional equivalent in a healthcare or science related field.
Experience: None
Specialist Intermediate:
Education: Bachelor's degree or experiential/functional equivalent in a healthcare or science related field. Master's degree in healthcare simulation, a related healthcare or related educational field may substitute for some experience.
Experience: Two years of healthcare simulation experience.
Licensure: None required. A CHSOS, CHSE or CHSE-A certification may substitute for some experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs. Must have the ability to move 50 pounds and remain in a stationary position for long periods of time.
This is a full-time salaried position with hours that will vary based on the scheduled educational needs of our learners. You can expect an average of 40 hours per week with the possibility of working early mornings, evenings, and weekends as the schedule dictates.
