Position Overview: Wisconsins Polytechnic University seeks an innovative and enthusiastic Artificial Intelligence (AI) Integration Technologist to join our Learning Information Technology (LIT) team. The specialist will support faculty and staff with the integration of AI and Generative AI into instructional practices and help the university with its dynamic technology changes attributable to AI. The position will serve as a consultant for the university-wide AI coordination team and play a vital role in enhancing teaching and learning experiences, driving adoption and innovation of AI through professional development initiatives.
The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual with a strong understanding of AI technologies, their potential applications in education and a growth mindset. They will be a skilled communicator and collaborator, able to bridge technical expertise and pedagogical needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum
Bachelor's degree
Knowledge of general AI principles, algorithms, and/or tools
Experience in the application of AI technologies, with a strong understanding of Generative AI
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Collaborates effectively with diverse stakeholders (such as faculty, staff, students, or external partners)
Ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiences
Creative problem-solving abilities with a drive for innovation and continuous improvement
Demonstrated experience in staying current with emerging trends and technologies

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
