International Postdoctoral Associate in the School of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Pittsburgh

The candidate is expected to perform research on nuclear receptor-mediated gene regulation and the implications of this regulation in physiology and diseases. You are expected to generate scientific data and present them in the forms of research publications and/or conference presentations. Your job duties include the design and execution of experiments, including cell culture experiments and animal experiments. Common equipment to be used include real-time PCR machines, centrifuges, and tissue culture hoods. Common procedures include real-time PCR, western blotting, histology, and cell culture. You are also expected to contribute to the writing of manuscripts for publication.

The candidate must have PhD and/or MD degree in Life Science and Molecular/Precision Medicine. No prior postdoctoral experience is required. Interested applicants should apply at https://www.join.pitt.edu/, requisition number 24004140.
