Job Title: Atlassian Administrator

Position Summary

Insulet IT is looking for an Atlassian Administrator to participate in driving the adoption, maintenance, and expansion of Atlassian tools at Insulet. We are heavy users of Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo. Candidates should have experience in administering complex environments, migrating systems from other tools to the Atlassian product suite, and building high-quality system in support of business operations. The person in this position should have strong overall technical skills and problem solving Skills. The ideal candidate will be flexible and flourish in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Responsibilities

Support and Administer Atlassian tools which includes (Bamboo, Bitbucket, Confluence, Jira)

Work Closely with the IT & RD team in understanding the Atlassian tool requirement and support accordingly.

Independently and working with users/stakeholders evaluates and recommends best practices for Bamboo ,Bitbucket Applications.

Created, configured and managed multiple builds such as SNAPSHOT and Release builds using JENKINS/BAMBOO build server.

Perform code merge from one branch to another branches using tortoise SVN/GIT merge.

Evaluate and manage the usage of Atlassian add-ons to meet team and business needs.

Work with development and design teams to identify procedural efficiencies, such as with Jira Workflows, custom fields, etc.

Ability to construct custom dashboards using various filter types $Custom JQL in JIRA.

Work with JIRA filters, reporting, dashboards, workflows, fields, and JIRA administration.

Devise, test, and deploy integration's between Atlassian products and other internal tool.

Develop and maintain Ansible playbook for Atlassian application.

Should be well verse in Linux platform where Atlassian tools are hosted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science, engineering, IT, information systems, math, physics, or other technical discipline with 5+ years of IT Experience.


• 3+ years' experience administrating Atlassian products (Bamboo, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) Especially around Bamboo and Bitbucket applications.


• 3 years supporting/performing Bamboo, Bitbucket, Jira Confluence installations, migrations, upgrades, maintenance, and tuning.


• Strong knowledge and familiarity with JQL & Databases.


• Experience on installation /upgrade of Bamboo, Bitbucket & Jira in a Linux environment.


• Very strong verbal and written communication skills


• Working knowledge of both Scrum and Kanban methodologies


• Scripting experience with Groovy, Python, or Java


• Knowledge of script runner is a plus.


• Exposure to Incident and change management tools (i.e. Service now)

Additional Information:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $91,700.00 - $137,750.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
