Job Description:

Highland Community College is dedicated to fostering student success and retention through innovative programs and supportive services. We are committed to empowering our students to achieve their academic and personal goals. We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Student Success Coach who will monitor a case load of students that participate in grant programs, or those that may be identified as high risk. The Student Success Coach will play a vital role in promoting student success and increasing retention rates by providing coaching and intervention techniques to students across academic programs and through Athletics. In addition, this individual will serve as an athletic head or assistant coach, with sport to be determined.

The qualified individual will also collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and implement strategies for student success. Potential candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field, and have a minimum of three years’ experience in a relevant field; Master’s degree preferred.
