The anticipated yearly salary range for this position is: $133,000 - $144,000 based on experience.  

 

About the Role: 

As the Director of Accreditation and Assessment at San Francisco Bay University, you will oversee assessment activities aimed at program development, evaluation, and accreditation. In this role, you will supervise and coordinate accreditation processes, including Academic Program Reviews and the preparation and submission of required reports. You will collaborate with administration and faculty to propose policies and procedures, fostering a "culture of assessment." 

 

This role offers the opportunity to lead and innovate in accreditation and assessment, ensuring that San Francisco Bay University continuously improves its academic programs and supports student success. 

 

 

What you can expect to be doing: 

  • Overseeing Data Collection and Reporting: You will manage the collection, assessment, analysis, and reporting of data to ensure it is useful for curricular and program improvement. 
  • Promoting Student Learning Outcomes: You will articulate and document student learning outcomes for each program and the university, helping faculty develop measurable outcomes and curriculum maps. 
  • Leading Accreditation Activities: You will serve as the primary contact for accreditation activities, including preparing reports and coordinating site visits, particularly for WSCUC accreditation. 
  • Advising on Accreditation Initiatives: You will provide insights and advice to the Provost and leadership on accreditation matters related to WSCUC. 
  • Analyzing Trends and Outcomes: You will research and analyze trends and outcomes, providing strategic recommendations and insights into programmatic offerings and student learning goals. 
  • Coordinating Surveys: You will work with the Office of Institutional Effectiveness to design, distribute, analyze, and report on alumni and exit surveys. 

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • Master’s degree required, doctoral degree preferred, in Education, Assessment, Psychology, or a related field. 
  • Five years of experience in higher education assessment and research design required. 
  • Familiarity with Regional Accreditation best practices, with knowledge of WSCUC Standards of Accreditation preferred. 
  • Demonstrated knowledge in the areas of assessment of student learning, program evaluation, quantitative and qualitative research methods, and statistical analysis. 
  • Experience in, and knowledge of the accreditation process. 
  • Experience with national and regional accreditation preferred. 
  • Demonstrated leadership working across an array of campus partners. 
  • Interest in, and willingness to seek innovative solutions with a growth mindset. 
  • Experience with database-driven, web-based applications, and statistical software. 
  • Knowledge of Qualtrics, Salesforce, and Tableau, is a plus.
