Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Software Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our global team! The team is responsible for SRE activities for Asahi Kasei International IT managed Applications.

Your missions are the following:
> Applications Availability and Performance
Technical issues handling for managed applications, response to incidents
Supporting incident escalation and troubleshooting, provide technical support when needed
Evaluating incidents after resolution, Root cause analysis & communication (Post incident report, active Problem Management)
Continuous monitoring of applications (via Microsoft SCOM), automate incident responses
Development and management of solutions to increase reliability and control (monitoring using SCOM, supervision using SquaredUp, automation using Azure DevOps pipelines...)
Lead Knowledge sharing practices across the team and with other teams (ServiceDesk for example)
Joint work with Developers when needed to improve reliability of Applications
Adhere to company procedures, define, and regularly improve team procedures
Participate in the on-call rotation for the IT group
Train and Assist Junior SRE and SRE
> Code Push execution & optimization
Execute safe code promotion through our non-production and production environments respecting the business constraints
Able to design reliable and Pipelines and to implement them
Includes in house implemented applications (ERP, MES) or vendor applications
Train and Assist Junior SRE and SRE
Joint work with Developers, DBA, Support Teams, and Infrastructure Teams
> Technical Project Management & Execution
Lead assigned project
Act as technical analyst on various Business/IT Project initiatives
Manage time effectively to ensure that tasks and projects are delivered on schedule
Report progress, communicate proactively
Train and Drive Junior SRE and SRE
> Technical Requests handling
Managed applications related requests as non-production environments refreshes
Servers/Platforms upgrades, infrastructure led required changes
Technical Administration Activities
Security Audits
> R&D or Continuous Improvement Projects
Focus on Continuous Improvement, be force of proposal of improvements
Standardization Practices
Automation (through DevOps toolkit for example)
Follow technologies trends to propose improvements
Help streamline practices globally
Qualifications
Education Background:
Minimum requirement: 4-year degree or equivalent combination or education and experience is required
Degree in information services, computer science, or related
Knowledge & Experience:
Minimum of 5 years' experience supporting Business Applications required
Strong Knowledge of a scripting language (PowerShell required)
Strong Knowledge of SQL Language and relational database fundamentals
Good organizational skills, able to prioritize
Strong IT general culture, understanding of IT Software & Systems architectures
Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Ecosystem (Windows Server, SQL Server, IIS...)
Strong Knowledge of a DevOps toolkit (Azure DevOps Server is preferred)
Knowledge of ERP Microsoft Dynamics (365, AX 2012) is a plus
Experience with ServiceNow Enterprise Service Management (ESM) is a plus
Ability to speak, read and write English is required
