Job Description:



As the Application Implementation Team Manager, you will lead a cross-functional team of analysts dedicated to driving successful project implementations for various software applications within our organization. With a primary focus on project management, you will collaborate closely with diverse teams to ensure projects are executed efficiently, meeting deadlines, budgets, and exceeding stakeholder expectations.

Key Accountabilities



The Implementations Team Manager missions includes:



  • Project Leadership: Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of application implementation projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.


  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with IT, business stakeholders, vendors, and external consultants to coordinate efforts and drive successful project outcomes.


  • Team Management: Manage and mentor a team of cross-functional analysts, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure their professional development and project success.


  • Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively, balancing workload and priorities to ensure project tasks are completed on time and within budget.


  • Cost Management: Develop, plan, track, and report on project costs to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and optimize resource utilization.


  • Scope Management: Track and manage project scope, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations and effectively communicating and managing scope changes as necessary.


  • Multiple Project Management: Effectively manage multiple projects in parallel, prioritizing tasks and resources to ensure successful outcomes across all initiatives.


  • Hands-On Work: Lead by example through hands-on involvement in project activities, providing guidance and support to team members as needed.


  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders at various levels to gather requirements, communicate project status, and manage expectations throughout the implementation process.


  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues to minimize disruptions and ensure project success.


  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with third-party vendors and consultants, managing relationships and ensuring adherence to project timelines and deliverables.


  • Change Management: Facilitate change management processes to ensure smooth transition and adoption of new applications by end-users.


  • Documentation: Oversee the documentation of project plans, requirements, processes, and outcomes to facilitate knowledge transfer and future reference.


  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.


  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in project management and application implementation.


  • Travel Requirement: Up to 25% travel expected, domestic and international.


Qualifications




Education Background:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 for SCM Certifications for Finance, Trade and Logistics or other relevant modules.


Knowledge & Experience:



  • D365 F&O experience required.

  • History of delivering on D365 full lifecycle implementations preferred.

  • Proven experience in overseeing the implementation of ERP solutions, systems, or products.

  • Experience with ERP implementation methodology as a project manager, consultant or as an end user.

  • Proven experience in project management, with a focus on software application implementations.

  • Experienced with project management and collaboration tools, MS Project, Teams, SharePoint.
